Since I was a kid I’ve had a love and fascination with Property and Business — I always had something on the go, painting neighbours’ houses, maintaining gardens, manufacturing rabbit hutches.

I should have pursued this further after school but bowed to pressure to get a job.

That led me into engineering and manufacturing — including time at Unilever at Colman’s Mustard, where I learned how world-class businesses are turned around and optimised.

I took that knowledge into property. Starting in 2006, I grew a share of a £5 million portfolio predominantly in Norwich — effectively retired before I was 30.

Then I lost it all du eto a toxic mixture of a dishonest business partner, naivety, overextension and a perfect storm erupting. It was a dark period but I leared a lot from that experience. 

Importantly it’s helped me develp how I currently work and the person I now am, those mistakes and lessons make me sharper and ultimately better.

After this set back I spent years back in engineering leading to project management, working for some of the world’s largest companies. But property never left me, despite trying to go in different directions property kept pulling me back.

Today I’m back where I belong — sourcing and project managing Norwich property investments for investors who want to invest in Norwich and want a partner on the ground, finding the right property and managing the process and the refurb.

I still live in Norwich, I’ve been in this market since 2006. I know the streets, the contractors, and what a genuinely good asset looks like.
